Vance Nilsson, who recently completed his junior year at Gilbert High in Arizona and representing the Arizona Flames Track Club, won the men's 17-18 division 400-meter hurdles in 52.18 seconds at the USATF National Junior Olympic Championships at Hayward Field in Eugene, Ore. Nilsson also secured sixth place in the 17-18 division 110-meter hurdles final in a wind-legal 14.17 seconds.
